Very good, not great, but very good. Picking up a bit of the DME from the starter (didn't decant [because I'm an idiot] and with a lg starter it's showing through). Did a side by side with Alpine's Duet (the target flavor profile) and while Duet's a bit lighter on its feet, it's also got a bit harsher back-of-the-palate bitterness which - when drinking my clone alongside it - didn't seem to sit well with me. That said, my clone is more rounded, for better or worse.

To refine this, I think I'll a) decant the damn starter like I should be doing all the time anyway to keep as much shit-wort out of there as I can, b) shift a few oz of the Amber to 2-row, c) bump the Acidulated up to 6-7oz to give it a touch more "west coast' IPA flavor, d) bump the fermentation dry hop amounts from 1.5oz each to 2oz each, and e) dry hop in the keg with 1oz each Simcoe & Amarillo. Not looking to raise the bitterness all that much, but this has been the best smelling beer I've made and I want to crank the aroma up quite a bit to bring that out.
