Brew day went perfectly. 60 min mash, 60 min sparge, 90 min boil. Yeast smelled a little buttery. Ensure a diacetyl rest on this one. Update 30 October 2014: Beer is carbonated and being served. It's nice and grassy, but there are some non-offensive off flavors. I think the yeast was old (IIRC, it was about 18 months old and this was its 4th or 5th batch.)

First brew with Braumeister. Attempted to use tea ball for bittering hops. Found all of the hops clumped in the ball and still green. I'm concerned that the AAs did not release in to the beer. We shall see.

1 March 2014: Transferred to secondary. Tasting quite nice. A lagering will serve it well. A bit above gravity, but another day of diacetyl rest may even it out.

4 May 2014: Transferred to keg. Tasting very nice. Any concern about AA extracting is gone. This is pretty bitter. Final gravity down to 1.012. Dry and bitter, just how I like my pils.
